House
This tutorial was written using PSP7, but can probably be done in earlier versions with a few adjustments.
** Remember to save your work often! **
1. Open a transparent image 600 x 550. Set your foreground to #EEEAE2 (or a color of your choice) and your background to Pattern and select the "jd-rooffill" pattern (scale 100% - angle 0).
2. Add a new Raster Layer (all layers will be Raster layers) and name it "sides". Load the "jd-housesides" selection (Selections - Load from Disk). Flood fill with your foreground color. Go to Effects - 3D Effects - Inner Bevel and use these settings (you may want to save these settings as "house" since we will switch between two settings throughout the tutorial.
3. Keep selected and go to Effects - Texture Effects - Blinds and use these settings (you may want to change the color if you are using a different fill color than the one I am using).
Width 8
Opacity 35
Color #907F5C
Horizontal checked
4. Selections - Select None. Add a new layer and name it "side roof". Load the "jd-sideroofs" selection. Fill with your background pattern and add the following Inner Bevel (save these settings as "roof" for later use).
5. Selections - Select None. Add a new layer and name it "front". Load the "jd-housefront" selection. Fill with your foreground color and add the same Inner Bevel. Apply the Blinds as before - but change the width to 10.

10. Keep selected and add the Roof Inner Bevel but change the Width to 6 and the Depth to 9. Selections - Select None.
11. On the same layer, load the "jd-chimneytop" selection and flood fill with #907F5C. Apply the last Inner Bevel. Selections - Select None. Go to Layers - Arrange - Move Down to move this layer below the "top roof" layer.
